Bodyline has created workshops open to Pilates enthusiasts and professionals. Workshops are catered to fulfill required continuing education credits and updated many professionals with Pilates techniques which help Pilates Teachers create unique courses and training sessions for their clients.

To complete your Pilates Certification, you must complete two Anatomy workshops; Anatomy of the Limbs and Anatomy of the Trunk. There is no specific order as to which course to take first.
In Anatomy of the Trunk, you will study all major muscle groups pertaining to your skeleton, spine extension, lateral flexion, rotation, stabilization, hip flexion, hip extension, hip abduction, hip abduction, and their primary actions within the body. Good teachers know the names of muscle groups, great teachers can use their understanding of anatomy to create better programs for their clientele. In Anatomy of the Limbs, you will study all major muscle groups pertaining to the upper extremity joint movements and their muscles and primary actions within the body. We will then apply this knowledge to the Pilates repertoire. Memorizing the names of muscle groups will not enhance your teaching, but learning anatomy while moving your body will. Deconstructing Pilates and the Anatomy of Movement
This workshop is geared towards breaking-down specific Pilates exercises piece by piece.
This workshop will focus on only a few exercises to help breakdown the movement sequence, purpose, muscle activity, modifications for specific injuries, cueing, purpose of the exercise, modifications for all levels, and precautions. Example: Start position, what muscles are being used, how to engage those muscles, how to cue your clients into each position throughout the entire exercise.

This MOTR workshop will teach exercises to use on yourself and clients with the MOTR. The MOTR combines the comfort of a foam roller with the challenge of three weight level resistances, giving you a challenging and incredibly diverse workout tool.

Pilates Teaching Lab is unique in that you bring an actual client whom you will work with during the first hour of this workshop. Your client is only required to be there for the first hour. You will spend the next few hours receiving direct feedback on how to continue to improve your teaching methods.

We are excited to announce that Pilates Anatomy is available via virtual workshop. Bodyline is one of the few studios that offers Pilates Anatomy workshops which is a requirement to be fully certified as a Pilates instructor. If you have not taken Anatomy or have not been able to make it to the studio, these two workshops allow you to complete your Anatomy hours and study from the comfort of your home.
